The establishment of Human Rights in the Picture came about as there was a need for promoting respect for human rights through different channels and with different tools. As such, Foundation Human Rights in the Picture has as its mission to promote respect for human rights through film, art, new media and education aiming to reach a divers and broad audience.

Working from The Hague the small team is strengthened by numerous professionals around the world who want to contribute to the mission of Human Rights in the Picture by providing their expertise. We are grateful for their contributions and we hope to work with many more people, adults and children alike, around the world.
