Throughout the decade our organization has been active in shining a light on human rights through storytelling in order to generate change. During the many projects, Human Right in the Picture done our organization has met many inspiring, powerful survivors of human rights abuse and threatened artists working in the field of human rights. The Resilience and Solidarity Programme is a project Human Rights in the Picture started in order to support some of those individuals that have inspired us deeply. With our program, we will contribute to their lives by trying to support the individuals financially and connect them to our network of filmmakers, visual artists, photographers, translators, editors, educators, human rights defenders, lawyers, NGOs, diplomats, and students.
The first participant of our resilience & solidarity program was Paola, a trans woman from Honduras. Want to know more about our successful crowdfunding? Visit the news page on our website.
